DENTON, Texas (March 28, 2023) – Texas Woman's (17-19, 11-16) softball sets the stage for a mid-week, non-conference match up against Southeastern Oklahoma State (19-14, 13-4).

On Wednesday, March 29, beginning at 4 p.m. the Pioneers will face off in a double header at Dianne Baker Field.

In a high scoring game one on Saturday, March 25, the Pioneers went 9-0 to defeat the Mustangs. Following their standout performance in game one, the Pioneers are coming off a tough loss during Sunday's double header. The Mustangs stumped the Pioneers 3-2 in game two, followed by game three 5-4.

The Savage Storm of Southeastern Oklahoma State averages .263 from the plate and is led by junior outfielder Gracie Ore batting at .338. Defensively, the Pioneers are led by first base junior
Delaney Boley with 216 putouts and
Avery Boley with 198. Â

Leading the way from the circle is junior pitcher
Alyssa LeBlanc. LeBlanc is 10-8 and has hurled a total of 183 strikeouts this season. Several of the Pioneers have seen action from the circle including

At the plate, LeBlanc leads the Pioneers batting at .396 and has contributed 36 RBI to the Pioneers total of 101 RBI this season.
Ciana Rodriguez (.264 BA),
Tylar Lane (.257 BA),
Lauren Trinh (.246 BA), and
Kennedy Marlow (.227 BA) have pushed the Pioneer offense to the next level.
