Nori Morgan named Preseason LSC Goalkeeper of the Year

DENTON, Texas (July 20) – TWU senior goalkeeper Nori Morgan has been named the 2010 Preseason Lone Star Conference Goalkeeper of the Year. West Texas A&M juniors Lindsay McHorse and Nadia James were named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year respectively.
Morgan was the LSC Goalkeeper of the Year last season after starting all 19 games in net for the Pioneers posting 8-9-2 record with 0.98 goals against average, .843 save percentage and seven shutouts. She ranked first in the conference in saves (102) and third in shutouts.
Morgan was also named to the first-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Central Region and all-LSC squads. She was named LSC Goalkeeper of the Week three times in 2009 after helping the Pioneers to a 6-1-1 record in their final eight regular season games.
