Kudlac named NACGC/W Coach of the Year
DENTON, Texas (April 22) – TWU head gymnastics coach Frank Kudlac was named the 2010 National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) NCAA Division II Head Coach of the Year.

Kudlac earned the honor for the ninth time in his career. He won the award in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, and 2006 and shared the honor in 2008 with the University of Bridgeport’s head coach Byron Knox.

Kudlac guided the Pioneers to the 2010 Midwest Independent Conference (MIC) Championship title and a second place finish in the 2010 USA Gymnastics (USAG) Collegiate National Championships. The MIC crown is the second for TWU (2006) in school history.

TWU also captured four individual conference titles and four individual national titles. Twelve Pioneer gymnasts received 2010 USAG All-America honors.
