“Cameron has beaten three top 25 teams this season so obviously we won against a very good team on the road this afternoon,” said TWU head coach Riche Bruister. “We pitched well and our defense played great. This will give us confidence and momentum for next weekend versus West Texas A&M.”
The Pioneers will return to action next weekend when they host a three-game series versus West Texas A&M. TWU and WTAMU will play a doubleheader on Friday, Mar. 12, beginning at 5 p.m. and a single game on Saturday, Mar. 13, at 12:00 noon.
