Pioneers capture three individual titles at USAG National Championships

DENTON, Texas (April 17) – A trio of Texas Woman's University gymnasts - sophomore Rashonda Cannie and freshmen Kristin Edwards and Brittany Johnson - won the bars, vault and beam event titles respectively at the 2010 USAG Collegiate National Championships Individual Event Finals on Saturday night at Kitty Magee Arena. Counting Cannie’s all-around title from this past Thursday, the Pioneers won four of the five individual titles awarded at this year's Championships.

DENTON, Texas (April 16) – The Texas Woman’s University gymnastics team scored a 193.600 to finish second at the 2010 USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships on Friday night.

Cannie captures 2010 USA Gymnastics National Championships All-Around title

DENTON, Texas (April 15) – The TWU gymnastics team posted a score of 193.500 and won the 2010 USAG National Championships team semifinals session II. The Pioneers will advance to the finals on Friday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. Sophomore Rashonda Cannie captured the all-around title with a score of 38.725.
